Now a modern day centre of innovation, but with an long and illustrious record of scientific discoveries and politcal, philosphical and literary contributions.
The city attracts many tourists each year, as much for its architectural beauty and copious museums, as its historical allure. With colleges dating back to the 11th century, Cambridge boasts beautiful examples of almost all types of architecture, as well as a generous number of parks & commons. The city’s namesake, the languid River Cam, meanders through the city.
Almost everything is within walking distance in Cambridge, which makes it a delight to explore.
