Museum of Technology: It will all come out in the wash


A celebration of local laundry history, with an exhibition of installation, photography and film inspired by the theme of laundries and washing. Find out about this little known part of the history of our town.

A few mini performances will happen at various times throughout the exhibition: watch out for Syncronised ironing, dare to enter the airing cupboard, and join an impromptu audience as characters have their say from the soap box, all woven through with details from the history of laundry work and wash days based on the memories of Cambridge locals...
